Strainers are used to strain dirt particles from water in pipe lines, heating stations, boilers. Strainers provides protection for pumps, meters, valves, heat exchangers, and other elements of installation. For additional water treatment strainers may work with local water network, fitted with rapid sand filters. Used in their technical solutions ensure effective water purification, simple installation and easy maintenance.
Special features:
- inertial strainig,
- sendimental straing,
- mechanical filtration,
- magnetic filtration,
- air separation,
- low pressure loss.
Construction of strainers:
Depending on the construction of strainers there are following types:
TerFOM - made of stailess steel with magnetic inset,
TerF - made of stailess steel,
TerFM - made of carbon steel hot galvanized with magnetic inset,
TerFO - made of carbon steel hot galvanized.
How strainers works:
In the strainers DN15-150 water flows trought
inlet (2) to the barrier (8) and is directed to down of
vessel to the zone of the magnetic field made by magnetic inset (9),
which is mounted in connector (7) (for version TerFOM and TerFM). At the same time it comes to reducing the speed of water and
separation solid impurities and air bubbles. A net filter (10) mounted at the top of the vessel
is used for final purification of water then water flows by outlet (3).
Separated air bubbles in the surface of the filter are discharged by the connector (5).
Separated impurities are removed by the connector (6).
In the strainer DN200 water flows by
inlet (2) and there is dividing for two streams which are directed downwards and
top vessel. The flow occurs through the zone of the field
magnetic inset (9) mounted in connectors (7)
(for versions of FOM and FM). At the same time it comes to expansion and
reduce water velocity, which is accompanied by separation
solid contaminants and air bubbles. Then purified
water is directed through the internal collector (11) to the
outlet (3). Separated air bubbles on the surface
filter are discharged by the connector (5).
Separated pollutions are removed by the connector (6).
A characteristic feature of strainers are low pressure loss
(see Figure hydraulic characteristics). The sequence of steps
filter makes more than 95% of pollutants is retained
before the net filter, by the magnetic inset.
Final purification of water is done by the filter.
Analysis of sediments from magnetic inset showed that about 30 ÷ 40% there are
paramagnetics (indifferent to the magnetic force). This phenomenon
paramagnetics is explained by the fact of their entrainment by the
magnetically active particles and the creation of agglomerates.
Strainers with flanged connectors have the authorization to exempt you from having to report the device in the UDT, in order to receipt at the place of installation, approved by the technical COBRTI Instal, certified by PZH.
