Pressure Reducing & Surplussing controller type RCUB - construction
The Self-acting Pressure Reducing & Surplussing Controllers have been designed for aplications in district heat substations and idustrial installations. Pressure Reducing & Surplussing controllers type RCRUB maintain constant pressure in installations in ranges 0,2-1.6 ; 1-2,8 ; 1-3,5 lub 2.5-7 bar. Type RCUB is desired to adjust the differential pressure Δp in the same ranges as RCRUB. The controllers type RCRUB and RCUB are suitable for cold or hot water (temperature up to 180°C for RCRB controllers and up to 150°C for controllers RCRBm) and non-flammable gases of temperature up to 80°C. For steam are required condensig vessels.
Key Features:
- High quality of regulation.
- Does not require conservation.
- Requiring no external power source.
Construction:
Self-acting differential pressure controllers are proportional controllers, controlled by the regulated medium. For ensure a stable of work valve plug (3) is balnced by the balancing bellows (4).
Priciple of operation:
The medium flows through the valve chamber (A) as indicated by the arrow. A control signal is transmitted by the impulse pipe (6) to the actuator chamber B. At RCRUB type the chamber (C) is conected with atmosphere. At RCUB type the control signal lower pressure is transmitted by the impulse pipe (7) to the actuator chamber C. Here pressure is converting into a positioning force. This force moves the diaphragm (8) according to the force of the spring (9), which is adjustable by the adjusting nut (11). Size of the gap between the valve-seat (2) and the valve-plug (3) is depending on constant difference pressure between chamber B and C. When pressure overcomes the force on the spring (9), the valve is opening proportionally to the changes in pressure, to the moment when the pressure difference between the chamber B and C will be equal to the force on the spring (9). Normally the valve-plug (3) is closed.
Installation of the controller:
The controller should be mounted on a horizontal pipeline. The direction of flow must be in accordance with an indication of the arrow on the valve body. To ensure the correct operation, the controller must protect by a filter or the magnetic strainer.
