The self-acting differential pressure controllers with flow limiter are used in heating and industrial installations that are intended to adjust the differential pressure within the 0,2-1,6; 1-2,8 and 1-3,5 bar and set the flow rate in range 0,15-23 m3/h. That regulators are suitable to cold or hot water, (temperature up to 180°C for RCQoB regulators and up to 150°C for regulators RCQoBm) and non-flammable gases of temperature up to 80°C.

Construction:
The self-acting differential pressure controllers with flow limiter are controled by the medium which flows through the valve.
For ensuring stable regulation at high differential pressures, the
valve-plug (4) is balanced (5). The regulator consisting of two units:
- the valve: valve body (1), flow limiter(2), valve-seat (3),
valve-plug (4), balanced plug (5), valve-stem (6);
- the actuator: impulse pipe (7), actuator discs and diaphragm (8), springs (9),
actuator-stem (10), adjusting nut (11), actuator-body (12).
Priciple of operation:
The medium enters to the valve chamber (A). The limiter-plug (2) determines size of the gap between the valve-chamber A and B. Higher pressure is transmitted through the impulse pipe (7) to the actuator chamber (C). Value of the pressure in the chamber (B) is transmitted by holes in valve-plug (4) to the chamber (D). Changes of pressure between the chamber B and pressure in the chamber C, creates a force which moves the valve-plug (4). When downstream pressusre overcomes the set point of the spring, the valve-plug (4) closes to moment when pressure between the chamber C and D will be equal to spring set point (9). The size of the regulated flow is controlled by adjustment of the limiter (2). The value of pressure difference is adjust by nut (11). During the selection of the desired range of settings should be remembered that it is the sum of pressure drop in a fully open the installation and measuring the pressure drop on the limiter.
Installation:
For ensuring good work the regulator should be protect by the filter or the magnetic strainer. Install on horizontally pipelines. The direction flow of medium have to correspond with the arrow on the valve body.
